Denizli is a province of Turkey in Western Anatolia, on hign ground above the Aegean Cost. Neighbouring provinces are Uşak to the north, Burdur, Isparta, Afyon to the east, Aydın Manisa to the west and Muğla to the south.
Denizli is able to compete in most economic sectors especially in textile, tourism and marble. ccording to sectors, the percentage of enterprises in Denizli are 61% Textile Industry, 8.% Machinery, 31% Marble and Natural Stones. Denizli is one of the most important cities of Turkey, which is called as a Travertine Center. How many kinds of marble are there? The marble types that are generally known are classical marble, travertine, onyx and granite. Out of these, marble is composed of totally crystallized stones with metamorphism. They are usually white or light gray in color. They contain lots of unique materials in their composition.
The sixth event was held between the dates of June, 04-07, 2009 with 9.000 sqm closed and 1.000 sqm open area. There was 140 wxhibitior companies mostly from Denizli and around cities, and more than 11.000 professional visitors all around Turkey, european, and middle east countries.
The coming event has a Special Part which is called Marble & Travertine Special Part, and will include different types of machinery for using to remove mines and using for mineral processing. We all invite you to both exhibit your machinery, visit the fair and meet the owners of travertine companies.
